To look at it positively, when life hits a new low,
the only direction it can go is UP.
Exactly my situation.

Tuesday I had lunch alone again. Kind of got used to it.
Didn't feel miserable anymore, just bored.
In the evening I bought 半斤的水餃 for dinner, and got so full!!!
I had no idea how many grams 半斤 is. XDDD
(Still don't know now! I only know it's a LOT!!)
Later on 文輝 brought me fruits, too many fruits actually. XD
I insisted that he take some back with him. XD
But I really appreciated apples and peaches. Thank u so much. Really.

Wednesday I went to the Great Wall,
met a girl friend on the tour bus,
chatted with Huichao, Dulan as we rested on the Great Wall.
That night Huichao, Dulan, Wangxin, Changqin, Jianping and I had dinner together along with Dulan's friend, Jingzhe, at 東來順.
I heard it b4 from 柏聿. She said she liked it! Yes, really tasty.
原來 東北人 把 金針菇 叫 金針蘑 呀!!!!!

Thursday noon I met Gintare and had lunch with her,
discussing the difference btn smoothie and slush. XD
還有發現自己的英文很爛, 不知道木耳(black fungus), 青江菜(bok choy / spoon cabbage)的英文 orz
I first met Gintare at the bus stop. She and her boyfriend Linus asked me for help reading the bus routes.
I helped them find their hostel, called PekingUni,
the one 文哲 had taken me for a look, called 未名 in Chinese.
I have no idea why the English name and Chinese name are so far-fetched. XD
That night (Monday) I walked in high heels for 3 km!!!
Thur night I had 3 peaches for dinner.
我真的胃變大了! orz 三顆耶!!(不小顆喔!) >"<

Friday morning I put up Jingfen's poster, was asked of questions to which I didn't know the answers. >"<
Checked out Zhangyi's, Huichao's, Wangxin's posters.
Chatted with a person from 瀋陽, and study in CS Dept,Univ of Toronto.
I liked him a lot. :)
Then there was this short man in a bright green T-shirt who was interested in Jingfen's poster.
I explained everything to him with best efforts.
He said it's really nice. :D (Happy tears)
Okay then it came to my demo.
Only two to three guys checked out my stuff. :(
But I had long and deep talks with them. So...never mind.
I regretted not making a poster. :P Learned a lesson this time!!
Having a small booth of my own was actually really cool only if I had had the poster to hightlight my topic. :P
Had lunch with Huichao and Wangxin.
Huichao is a really really nice and kind guy. So glad meeting him.
Huichao and I went to the Best Finalists talk.
I am sorry to say I fell asleep sometimes.
The content was too difficult and the words on the slids I could not see due to my poor eyesight... orz
Meeting Gintare and Linus at Dongsi Station at 18:00.
Went to 王府井, saw 串烤海馬, 串烤蠍子, 串烤蠶蛹, 串烤蜈蚣, 串烤海蛇...
中國人真是無物不食!!!!!
其實看到有些蠍子(還是活的)在竹籤上扭動的時候, 真是於心不忍呢...
王府井真的很多小吃耶, I loved it!!!
話說, 那條串烤街道上每隔幾公尺就擺了個大型垃圾桶,讓食客丟吃完的包裝垃圾。
有一個人，他看了看垃圾桶裡，有杯丟棄的飲料沒完全喝完(大概只剩不到20%)，
便伸手進去拿了那杯飲料起來喝。
I was sooooo shocked seeing this!!!!!!
Alright anyway I had wonderful time walking around the 王府井 streets. :D
有朋友，人生真的很快樂。
這是我這次來北京最深刻的體認。
Coling is over. My vacation begins! Hooray!!!!
